Benfleet Councillor Sue Mumford tells us “I have been approached by a number of residents asking me about the possibility of having an outdoor gym installed in Tarpots Recreation Ground, (similar to that in John Burrows, Hadleigh) suitable for families to use.

These have long lasting benefits including improvement in physical health and mental wellbeing. The Government have given Castle Point Borough Council £140,000 to distribute for Public Realm and Play Spaces Funding and I would like to be able to fulfil resident’s requests and apply for funding for this.
