Last week I visited Southend Hospital where I met with the Head of Midwifery, Colleen Begg and Matron Kerry Joseph for the Emergency Department at the Hospital, to see the improvements Southend Hospital are making.

I was very impressed by the new Paediatric A&E Department and the incredible dedication of the staff across the hospital.
