Tree Planting in Castle Point

Castle Point Council will be planting trees in the borough week commencing 12th December and are looking for volunteers to get involved.

Volunteers should arrive onsite at 10 and be dressed appropriately for the weather, with stout footwear/wellingtons and gloves. Refreshments will be provided for those volunteering all day.

Planting will finish around 3 - 3.30. Tools will be provided although a spade is useful if you have your own to bring along. Full instructions will be given on the day.

Dates

Mon 12th – Brook Road/Richmond Park Benfleet (Meet at the bottom of Brook Rd at the pavilion)

Tues 13th – Start at Brook Road Benfleet (Meet at the bottom of Brook Rd at the pavilion)

Weds 14th – Smallgains Canvey Island – (Meet at Canvey Heights gravel Car Park by the lake)

Thurs 15th – Waterside Canvey Island (Meet at Waterside Sports Centre car park by the fields)
