Although the heavy snowfall is a distant memory the Island is still littered with pot holes that have not been repaired.
Concerned Islanders, Pat Haunts & Chas Mumford inspected some at the junction of Point Road and Southfalls Road.
Pat said “the County Council appear to be repairing these pot holes on a who shouts loudest policy. There is a public outcry on the state of Holton Road and the repairs take place overnight yet less than 200 yards away cars are still being damaged by craters that could have been repaired at the same time”
Chas agreed “I would urge our County Councillor Brian Wood to visit the area to see first hand the disgraceful state of our roads. I imagine the only people happy with them are tyre suppliers and car repair shops!”
