Today is the opening day of Weir House, the Head office for S. Stibbards & Sons, local funeral directors that has been serving the community in South Essex for over 150 years.

Stibbards have always been big supporters of community events and local good causes and I was very honoured to be invited to cut the ribbon at the official opening ceremony of their new building earlier this month.

Its been fascinating to see the building spring up over the past year every time I have driven through Rayleigh Weir and the suites and facilities inside are wonderful. The S. Stibbards & Sons office and Chapel of Rest at New Road in Hadleigh will remain open. This new facility will mean that more families in South Essex will be able to benefit from the high level of service that they as a local family run business are well known for providing.
