Popped into The Beacon Shed this morning to donate some wood and a pair of old sewing machines which will go to another great organisation “Tools with a Mission”.

The Beacon Shed is located at Thundersley Congregational Church on Kenneth Road and is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday 9.30am till 1pm.

The Beacon Shed is one of two ‘Men’s Sheds’ we have in Castle Point, the other being Thundersley Men's Shed.

Both are looking for members and volunteers, so if you know anyone with good old fashioned practical electrical, mechanical, craft or other helpful skills with time on their hands, do point them in their direction.
