Castle Point MP, Rebecca Harris has slammed the culprits behind eleven incidents of arson carried out on Canvey Island on Tuesay night.

Rebecca said “Over recent days I have kept in regular contact with our local Police and the Fire Service. As a community we will not tolerate any acts of violent disorder in Castle Point”

“Recent events across the country should send a strong warning to parents that they must take responsibility for their children and know their whereabouts.”

“It is important that parents teach young people to respect property and that you have to work for what you get in life.”
