Rebecca Harris MP for Castle Point visited the People’s Postcode Lottery stand at Conservative Party Conference to hear more about the help and funding they provide to charities across the UK.

People’s Postcode Lottery raised £1.4 billion for charities across the UK in 2024 and 33% of each ticket goes towards the Postcode Trust promoting the draw. Grassroot good causes can apply for up to £25,000 of funding from the Postcode Places Trust which covers the East of England. Over £67,000, raised by People’s Postcode Lottery players, has already made a difference to many small, local good causes in Castle Point.

Rebecca Harris Commented: “Following on from the wonderful win for the the lucky Canvey residents last Christmas and the Virtual Funding Workshop I hosted in August for local charities, I am always pleased to raise awareness of the good work the People’s Postcode Lottery has done and continues to do for residents in Castle Point.”
