Canvey Island Town Council is organising its’ annual Community Awards to recognise those individuals and organisations who have made a significant contribution to the quality of life for residents on the island.

There are five award categories which are:

Citizen of the Year (over 18 years)

Young Person of the Year (18 years or under)

Community/Charity Group of the Year.

Youth Community/Group of the Year (benefitting those 18 and under)

Best Community Contribution from a Local Business

Nominations should be for a person or group living or working on Canvey Island. Nominations need to be received by Friday 17th February.

The awards will be presented at Canvey Island Town Council’s Annual Town Meeting being held on Tuesday 14th March
