After months of negotiations, planning and wading through the red tape, the Hadleigh Community Fridge is finally in place in the Library and ready to sign up volunteers.

Huge thank you to Hadleigh Community Group - Essex and Mashfords Garden Services for help with funding, and Essex County Council for their support in allowing us to site it in the Library.

Initially, the fridge will be stocked and open two days a week, from 10am until 2pm with one of our volunteers on hand for help and advice.

We now need a small team of volunteers for the following roles:

Coordinating donations, monitoring H&S regs (training will be given)

Stocking the fridge at the beginning of each session.

Manning the fridge during opening hours (one hour sessions)

Emptying fridge at end of session and disposal of any excess stock.
